What's new for 2027: Dusk & Dawn

EDC Las Vegas is Insomniac’s electronic-music festival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. For 2027, its festival calendar has two distinct three-night weekends: Dusk on May 14–16 and Dawn on May 21–23. Treat those as separate choices when you compare dates with your group. The official announcement describes both weekends; it doesn’t turn the days between them into a continuous run of festival nights at the Speedway.

Insomniac also describes a broader Dusk Till Dawn experience, with activity beyond the two festival weekends. That wider concept is useful context, but it doesn’t establish an identical program across both weekends. Don’t assume identical lineups, stages, production, pricing, camping access, or programming. Check each product and announcement for the dates and access it actually covers before making plans around it.

The distinction matters when you start matching festival dates to accommodation. Camp EDC’s current announcement offers Dusk, Dawn and Dusk Till Dawn choices, while the camping product page uses specific night counts and date labels. Those labels aren’t a substitute for exact arrival and departure instructions. Keep room for the still-pending check-in and final checkout details when you discuss your stay with your group.

The official hours and festival FAQ also need to be read together. Friday’s early opening is for the opening ceremony; it isn’t the full-grounds opening time. The schedule below keeps the two weekends separate and explains that distinction so an early Friday arrival doesn’t create the wrong expectation.

As checked September 9, 2026, Dusk Till Dawn camping is announced for sale September 10; individual Dusk and Dawn camping products are announced for sale September 17. Published stay labels are Dusk Till Dawn: 11 nights, May 13–23; Dusk: 4 nights, May 13–16; Dawn: 4 nights, May 20–23. Exact check-in windows and final checkout time remain pending.
